What: Cetis 2014: Building the Digital Institution: Technological Innovation in Universities and Colleges
when: 17th-18th June 2014
where: The University of Bolton
We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for our annual conference. This year we are hosting the conference on our home turf in Bolton. Our aim each year is to provide a unique opportunity for developers, learning technologists, lectures and policy makers to come together to discuss recent innovations in the domain of education technology. This year’s conference focuses on the digital institution and explores how technology innovation can support and develop every aspect of university and college life.
The programme has a mixture of keynote presentations and parallel sessions. This year we have two cracking keynotes lined up. Phil Richards has recently taken up his post as Chief Innovation Officer at Jisc with responsibility for steering the new innovation work in new organisation. We are also excited to welcome Audrey Watters, freelance technology and educational journalist who is travelling from the US to give our closing keynote.
The parallel sessions this year cover a wide range of current topics from open education to learning analytics, from ebooks to open knowledge, from system integration and accessibility to learning metadata.
The full programme and registration is available on the Cetis Conference 2014 pages.
We look forward to seeing you in Bolton in June.
